Aimee Gibbs
CRTP, Investment Executive

Aimee was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Tarzana, California when she was seven years old. She and her family lived there for three years before settling in Valencia, which has been her home since 1977. At Hart High School, Aimee discovered her love for numbers and accounting after excelling in a bookkeeping class. She took every accounting class possible during her senior year and was instrumental in launching the Future Business Leaders of America program at her school. Aimee credits her former high school accounting teacher Tony Grande for inspiring her career and success. After graduating in 1984, she went on to attend the College of the Canyons, where one of her accounting teachers asked her to teach the class about basic payroll taxes. Aimee eventually earned a B.S. in Accounting from California State University Northridge.

Mark Guirguis
CPA, CMA, CRTP, Registered Representative

Mark’s journey into accounting and finance began in 2002, starting off his career working for banking institutions Union Bank of California and then US Bank, while attending California State University Northridge. In 2008, upon graduating with a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Real Estate, Mark transitioned into the investment banking field, working in research internship roles until late 2010, when he landed a finance position at Warner Bros. Entertainment Studios, focusing on home entertainment and video game platforms, deal engagement and implementing a new financial reporting system. While working at Warner Bros. during the day, Mark enrolled at University California Los Angeles, attending classes at night and on weekends in order to earn his Certification in Accounting in 2012. After completing his Certification in Accounting, Mark transitioned to Warner Bros. accounting department, focusing on full cycle accounting processes, internal control process improvements and financial reporting while managing his own team based out of India.

Lia A. Mabritto
Notary Public

Lia A. Mabritto is originally from Westfield, Massachusetts but by 1970, her and her parents made their way out west, eventually settling down in Los Angeles, California. She graduated high school in 1980 and went to college for a couple years, intending on becoming a flight attendant. However, Lia changed her career path and began her first job at Bernie Gudvi & Associates in 1980, a business management and accounting office where she was the receptionist until 1982. One of the firm’s clients, the band Styx, gave Lia the opportunity to become the head of the Styx fan club, handling fan mail and memorabilia.

Jason Daniel
Bookkeeper

At Guirguis & Gibbs Inc., Jason serves as the lead bookkeeper, drawing on his impressive 20 years of experience in marketing, entertainment and accounting. As a native of the Santa Clarita Valley, Jason attended Peachland Elementary, Placerita Jr. High School and eventually Hart High School. After graduating high school in 2001, Jason immediately went into the workforce, becoming a Customer Service Representative for Enterprise Rent-a-Car until 2005. From 2005 until 2007, Jason went to work at Plus 8 Digital as the company’s inventory manager, where he was responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, management and internal controls across multiple locations nationwide.
